Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cold whole milk Castro was obsessed with Cuban dairy
  • 3 –4 scoops quality chocolate ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or melted Cuban-style dark chocolate if you want to go authentic
  • Whipped Cream:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate chunks for topping
  • Hershey’s syrup for drizzle

Instructions
 

  1. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine the milk, chocolate ice cream, and chocolate syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a tall glass. Top generously with whipped cream, chocolate chunks, and a drizzle of syrup.
  4. Serve immediately, thick and indulgent, just the way Castro enjoyed them.
